Well i did it, i took the plunge. Never ever since i was a child have i been seen in or owned a HAT.

Well i bought one today, its cream with a peak on. Mother came with me too get it, it was pouring with snow but in my bag it went instead of on my head. Went for a coffee and i did it, i put it on before i left the shop. Wonderful, my head was warm and i felt so liberated and cause it has a peak it shields my glasses. No going back for me now im a hat person. Do i give a hoot that i look like a diddy man not at all

I bought one with earflaps last week, too biddy cold to worry about how it looks, at least I am feeling my ears again.

lol... I LOVE hats - from posh ones to wear for ladies days at the races, to snoods and bandanas which can be modified to balaclavas/bobble hats/scarves etc!

Take a selection into the childrens cancer wards (pre arrange this!), including scarves etc which have real hair attached to them making it look like you have tied your hair back for the lasses, yet without the heat and itchiness and hassle of wearing a wig (especially one provided on the NHS! *shudder*) and see the happiest faces on this earth

As baldies ourselves (yes, both of us), hats are an integral part of our lives - enjoy!
