I've had an idea, the gentleman is a dying breed, especially for men under 25 in the inner city's, so I'm thinking of a society where men who have a little time to spare can be role models and mentors to these young men who are being failed by society and government, but not only would it be for education, if you join the LoEG you live by a code, and make a promise to help those in need in your local communities, be it donations to food banks, raising money for charity, or two of the things I have done in the past and still do, when getting a hair cut ( it's been a while lol) I used to like to pay for an older gentlemanly haircut, and still when I'm in a shop and a pensioner is buying a newspaper I'll pay for it for them, it's a small thing that makes a difference to someone's day.
So what do you think, anything else I can ad to the list of things those of us that are fortunate to be in a position to help, can and should do? |

I tip my hat to you sir!
My brother and I often buy a huge chippy meal for a gentleman of the road when we see him. He has saved pennies to buy his own, but a lot of the establishments won't let him in. We will buy him a huge meal, and tell him to keep his money. We will also tell the chippy what we think of them, and how they have just lost out on us buying our food from them. |
