This is for the singles
Does anyone feel a bit envious of those that have a "significant other" to do things with over the weekend?
I'm at a loose end this weekend - everyone I know is busy and I'm feeling sorry for myself sat alone having a cheeky beer hoping it will cheer me up!

Nah... I'm quite content in my own company and I don't think there's much you can't do on your own. I wander with my camera a lot so that's easy on a nice day. If it's pissing it then I tuck myself up at home with a book or go to the cinema. That's one of my favourite things and I wish I'd done it earlier in life. I always thought I'd feel like a dick on my own in the cinema but it's brilliant. You only notice how many people do it when you're alone.
I know what you mean but I'm never lonely. I guess I'm pretty lucky in that sense... my Dad is the same, one of the best traits he's passed down. I have lots of mates but I'm quite happy on my own.  |

The cinema is a good idea and it's something I enjoy when I'm in the UK - but I'm in Berlin at the moment and I don't speak German very well!

Oooh get a phrase book and go be a tourist! That's really easy to do alone. Pick some tourist attractions and go sightseeing. |

Maybe its because I have been on my own for so long, Even when I'm with Family/friends at social events/pubs I find myself wondering off, I like to meet new people all the time and find myself chatting to random people at the bar or the smoking area, I get bored if am in the same company all the time hearing the same stories over an over

I've been single for a long time too and I feel very restless if I'm in the same company for too long!
