And if so, are you having any problems as I've had terrible trouble connecting to my internet provider's (Virgin) wi fi and consequently have no internet access at all. The only way to get on here from my phone was to disconnect from the wi fi as I couldn't even get on the Internet whilst I was still connected. Couldn't access Facebook either, said connection was lost.
And that Cordana thing was useless.
Have turned everything off at the plug to see if that helps. |

Cordana is only set up for U.S. so far I have windows 10 on my old laptop and have had some issues with internet connections I can connect via my main hub but when I move around the house and move onto my signal booster signal it won't connect I have read there are some security compatibility problems if you can't resolve your issues you can connect via Ethernet connection until Microsoft debugs windows 10 |

Upgraded five home pcs to windows 10 last week and all is running fine. Had a few issues with device drivers but easily resolved. No issues with wifi, but we're not with Virgin. |

I hate Windows with a passion - and have done since the day it first came out...
I suffer to still run XP on my knock-about netbook, but am just willing the damn thing to die so that I can bin it...
I'd sooner choke on a thistle then even think of having Windows 10...
Just saying......
(Sorry, just the mention of Windows sends me into a rant... every time....!)

We've got until next July to upgrade free, so there's no hurry.
I'll let all the geeks and the 'must have the latest' brigade struggle with all the bugs, hopefully they'll be resolved by about next Spring.
On the other hand, I'll maybe eventually get round to having a serious look at Linux. |

Rang Virgin, automated voicemail says 'our engineers are working on it'. Was annoyed as I've an interview at 11am and wanted to check out their website before I go. Luckily I printed the job description last night and there's a bit on it about the company, phew!! |

you can revert back to your win 7 or 8 within a set period of downloading 10. I tink it might be 30 days??? |

We've been running a few threads on Windows 10, since prior to its release. If anyone's having any issues, it's worth checking them out, in case anyone's posted any tips.
Quite a few users have got it. Mine's downloaded but I delayed installation, as have had too much on and needed the pc. |

Moved two laptops across about 10 days ago. The process was slower than I liked, but now I'm perfectly happy and starting to enjoy some of the toys flipboard for example.
I also like the multi language integration that swaps dictionaries when I change keyboards to make spell checking easier.

If you do have a problem go to the feedback program on your laptop and report it. My touch pad problem was to do with my laptop make and a lot of people had reported it. It was fixed by automatic update within a fortnight. |

From what I have read there are problems with windows ten and supporting media software. I think one of the previous posters had problems using Youtube. There is supposed to be a better version coming out in six months time so I am going to wait and hopefully the bugs will be sorted by then. |

I haven't used it enough to find the problems yet. It was all just much slower than I expected.
My documents are there and I can get to my emails so I can work. I'll learn the play stuff...eventually, I suppose.

My colleague had the same problem, he uninstalled the Wireless driver and restarted his laptop which automatically reinstalled the wireless |

I have upgraded on the laptop. Virgin was not a problem but Bitdefender stopped working without warning. If you use Bitdefender check it as it may need to be reinstalled. |

"Gonna work through the security issues it's had before I load it up.... I don't think Microsoft need to know evey website I go to..... Or if they do then they can work for it."
Definitely recommend going through all the settings and turning off the built in spyware. For instance it steals your wifi password.
They are sucking everything out of you without saying anything. Intrusion into your personal habits and data is almost as bad as Facepage. |

Unlike old Windows, the new one is continuously updated for life, so new updates can come almost invisibly.
Anyone unsure if they'll like the new interface - pop into a store and mess about with it. Closer to 7, imo than 8. |

i have tried 8 on tabbed version and I hate it with a vengence and i wasnt the only one either in the shop having the same problem
windows 10 they can keep in my eyes as info is my info not anyone elses and certainly not to sell or be used for being sold to either
as goes for 10 its upgradeable via a paid system for your updates for the system that could be yearly
updated for life not entirely true as apple have done this before via paid updates I think ive read that somewhere
who wants to pay for updates at 30.00-60.00 a year not me thats for sure |

I downloaded it to my pc about a week ago and to my tablet earlier this week.
Don't use either enough to warrant worrying too much. As long as it works when I need it, which it has so far.
I have noticed on the tablet the screen no longer rotates automatically. Not sure if this is whether its down to 10 or me, but can't seem to find a rotation lock, which is on my phone, although 8.1. Anyone else noticed this? |

Because they're fucked if they don't. It's all about cloud services these days, and MS is trying to catch up with Apple and Google. |

Just looking at what you have to do to protect your privacy in windows 10
However if you do you might want to visit YouTube for a good tutorial on where to start with the settings.
heres some videos to change your privacy settings

"I had windows 7 download 10 had no problem until last night .how do you go back to 7 ?
System restore I think "
its actually a must if you have a laptop that has your windows verified account number
please use system restore to revert back to the previous version of windows otherwise
a set to factory settings or a clean install will render your machines microsoft code underneath invalid |

I currently have windows 8.1 I don't like it particularly but I'm getting used to it. Wouldn't dream of 'upgrading' to 10. I have windows 7 on my laptop but I only use it for recording music.
I wanted 7 on my tower, but it wasn't an option. |

Upgraded my Asus T100, or whatever it's called last night/today, took ages!
Firstly, although I'd updated 8.1 just last month, there was another update that had to be done before anything else could be. Then it announced that it needed 5GB space so some stuff had to be removed. Automatically using the Windows Disc Cleaner, that operation alone took hours!
When I re-started things today, the download was actually just over 2GB, so what was the rubbish about needing 5GB?
A few obvious changes, and hallelujah, that stupid Charm bar has gone. I'll go into Settings(Control Panel) later and ensure that things are setup the way I want them. |

ive come across info that states if you use p2p or torrent that you will receive a copyright notice
some sites are blocking windows 10 from its servers
anyone that watches the free sites for films or series you may find the sites blocked as windows 10 reports the sites that you visit to watch the freebies under the copyright infringement clause |

for all you new to windows 10, for setting it up try this:
make a new folder and name it:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
once you have made your folder and named it, the control pannel you once new in windows xp - windows 7 will become available with more added features |

"Not made the plunge yet. Is there a deadline date? Just wanted see how many others have issues with it. "
It's free to upgrade from your current OS for a year since the release date. (So free till end of July-ish 2016?)
I've personally not had one problem; prefer it to the Windows 8 versions (even the 'fixed' one). I had one blue screen on the second day, but since then has run perfectly. |

Yep, but W10 is only available via upgrade to the majority of the users, unless you happen to be a major manufacturer and new build |

My post was 4 weeks ago, did a diagnostic and found there were issues with the ethernet and some other stuff I didn't understand, my fault not Windows 10, as I don't know how to undo what I did, I have removed Windows 10, no issues now with the internet dropping out |
