It looks great . Lots of interesting artists involved including Jimmy Cauty of KFC fame, last seen in the press for buring 1 million pounds.

I'm a massive banksy fan went to see his exhibition in Bristol a few years back and also been to see a few bits of his work around the country.

Definitely going to go check this one out, it's open 11am-11pm from 22nd August - 27th September.

And on Friday nights they will have music artists performing, comedy show 1 of the Fridays. On Saturdays there will be dj's playing, both nights open till 1am

I'm with you there Granny - I'd have an overnight in Weston. I fear it's going to be near impossible to get tickets, with touts reselling them, after their computers spam the website for them. And in the weeks it's running, there aren't that many tickets altogether.

Will be trying my luck!

As bristolians we have been surrounded by banksy and other equally good street artists for years... One of my fav cafes has one (wild wild west) right above it... So im dying to see the weston exhibition...but im buggered if im waiting in line for hours and hours to see it... The whole point of street art is that its there for anyone to see... Not to be queued up in line for hours or booking online for tickets..... seems too businesslike somehow ... His exhibits should have been put all over weston in random places for people to see.. Free of charge at their leisure. Would be better for local business too. Thousands of people walking round the streets as opposed to parking, going to exhibit, and back to their cars and home.

It's not just his works, there are DJs and other things listed too. The site shows over 30 artists from across the world.

I have a lot of Banksy street art around me too but I think part of the point of this is the concept as much as anything.

You seem to be missing the point of what is being done. It is returning the tropicana to use and creating a theme park which itself is an artistic installation. That is different to just leaving stuff lying around.

You also could not leave Damien Hirst or Banksy sculptures around or people would take them and sell them for millions as we have already seen happen with much of Banksy's painting.

I think after the novelty and the media attention dies down a little the queues won't be as long.. and if the money accrued helps get the old 'Tropicana' open again ,it can only be a good thing all round

Once the site was working it was easy. Best to click on the list icon, as it shows which sessions are sold out. In the calendar mode you have to hover over the sessions to find out.

I am hoping at the end Banksy is going to release all of our credit card details as part of the dismal experience as well.

Properly dismal will be you get in the queue and a seagull either poops on you or nicks your chips. Then you get to the ticket office and they have sold out. You trudge back to your car and you have a parking ticket. Finally log onto Fab, and no-one has messaged you.

You haven't been - I have - it's brilliant.

And it's not *just* Banksy - they've just used his name to get press attention. There's much more to it that him.

My brother has just been, fab photos, looks like a great show/concept. Even the staff aren't allowed to smile in their neon vests and mickey mouse ears.

If I lived closer I'd definitely be queuing up for tickets, more released on Tuesday I hear.

I'm a jaded type who's been around the block, seen some crazy shit but there were a couple of things there amongst the general coolishness that actually took my breath away.

Take the queue for 'optical illusion' caravan

And check out the dark room off the end of the gallery.

Both amazing.

No, I'll see if I can get any tickets. If I can't then I am going to the turning up and queuing thing when I have two consecutive days free. I might as well try and arrange a meet as I'll be on tour.

The hotel options that came up included a £46 room at Pontins and I didn't book it. Am I reducing my dismal experiences?

You need the weather to be as shit as it was Monday night when we went.

Started pissing down just as we were at the top of the merry-go-round!

Bloody good set up, some amazing art and the humour is right up my street.

I almost didn't get in; the woman at the security scanner pulled me aside for smiling and told me I would be ejected if I did it again.

If you haven't been and are thinking about it then don't, just do it. The next batch of tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am.

There's a rumour going round that it may potentially stay open for longer!

There's a post on Facebook saying if 100,000 people want him to keep the place open he'll look into it.

Not sure how reliable it is. Banksy has stated that they're not insured a second past the end of the month - and the site is due for redevelopment at some point.

Keep em peeled!!

I'm hoping there'll be some surprise spectacular finale.

Tomorrow nights masked ball should be fun. You can't get in unless your face is covered an Banksy will be there hence the masked bit. Although since nobody knows what he looks like I think the no mask/no entry rule is a tad OTT.

The mask is because they're fed up of seeing your face. I think you should approach people and say, You are Banksy and I claim my £10.
