I have a wedding to attend tomorrow,so decided I need to cover my grey . Followed the instructions on black hair dye. Just waiting for all my grey to disappear now .

Like a numpty I didn't put any gloves on . My hands now look like I have dipped them in paint . Any tips on how to get the dye off my hands . I have been scrubbing for ages and nothing is happening

Fag ash and shampoo paste. Seriously. Someone at work reckons toothpaste as well but I haven't tried that one.

Washing powder mixed with fairy or shampoo, clears most things.

Pop to Halfords and buy some paint preparation wipes. They contain isopropyl alcohol and will clean your hands in seconds.

If to make a grit sugar would work better wouldn't it,

"Swarfega?"

Good for oil and grease, not so good on pigments.

Weren't the first soaps a mix of ashes and fats? Something chemical that's released during the burning process.

Carbon.

It has excellent cleaning properties and draws out impurities.

I tried a little bit of everything. Nail polish remover, bleach , lemon ,salt and fairy washing up liquid . Its gone but my nails are ruined .

Little bit of nail polish will hide that .

Missed half my greys out on my head too after all that

Cat wee and dried white dog poo. Believe me, no one will come close enough to notice your hands.

no matter

lemon juice olive oil and sugar scrub.. As an ex hairdresser I recall using perm lotion. could try peroxide also

You have probably stained the nails so a dark varnish as it will not come out of those. By yourself some pretty light gloves to match your outfit if all else fails.

Ross-on-Wye

Wear elbow-length satin gloves to the wedding!

Everyone will think you're ultra-sophisticated, they will all see the gloves and never notice the odd grey hair.

And the best man will probably have you a-bed in a jiffy!

I just use bleach on my hands but they are tough as I work with chemicals anyhow. My nails are worse if I've not had them painted and I do my hair , its not the application that colours them its washing the colour oot and I use blue black so it sticks more.

Problem long solved. I use hydrogen peroxide for loads of things at home as well as baking soda. They're both great for cleaning, hence why used in tooth products.

As the wedding was 6 weeks ago, I would think it's no longer a problem....
