"Definitely Braveheart. Its such a great classic"

And completely factually inaccurate, for a movie it's a good watch but if you base something on events that happened then at least get them right. Gibson was going through his anti English phase with the patriot his next film.

Saving private Ryan but I love war films or anything based on facts that depicts good over evil. Human endurance and suffering triumphing over the worst of human nature.

That is a good point. The same thing happened with Pearl Harbour as there were things in that movie that didn't actually happen.

Another great film for me has to be Willow. I grew up watching this movie and love the story and its characters.

In order -

Shiri - (Die Hard fans eat your heart out - the Koreans do it better, and back it with a superbly interwoven heartbreaking romance)

Better then Chocolate - (yes, it's exactly what it says it is!)

Cutie Honey - (Japanese Pop Culture at it's best!)

Kamikase Girls - (as beautifully, heartwarmingly bonkers as only the Japanese can be!)

My personal picks would have to be: The Darjeeling Limited, Moon, Submarine, Drive or Antichrist.

But loads on this thread are great picks.

I do love my films, but I really struggle to choose which is my best.

For the overall WOW Factor, Id probably say "Empire of The Sun".

For the fact it was the first big summer Blockbuster, "Jaws". You just can't fault it at all.

But to throw another one out there, if I feel I want to mindboggle people, I throw on Vanilla Sky. Damn, I want to watch them all now
