on the Really channel now, as a male, I never realised that buying a bra was such a science.

getting one to fit correctly seems like a right nightmare.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

The fact I can be a 36D in one shop and a 38DD in another annoys the crap out of me. I wish they'd sort out womens clothing sizes.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Down a back size, up a cup size.

It really depends on the cut and shape as well as the breasts.

Getting the right straps is my bugbear.

Tell me about it!

I lost weight and went from an E cup to a G cup!

My bugbear is getting straps that stay up without being over tightened cos I have narrow shoulders.

It was just fascinating watching them at the professional measuring place, one girl was measured at some bra fitting shop and told she was a 32EE, the professional place in London they sent her to spent loads of time measuring and fitting, and it turned out her actual size was 28G

I'm not very good at sizing them correctly, but I am a dab-hand at weighing them if that helps?

Titz Towers, North Notts

It's a minefield buying online and it's not easy to pop into shops with a big box and what you hope is a winning smile

Hate bra shopping with a passion! Smallish back size, with a larger cup size, and only one style I can wear is a complete nightmare to find!

Seriously considering making my own.....

They're bloody expensive too.

One bra for me usually costs £25-30

Now that I'm poor I've had to give up Rigby and Peller. My favourite bra from them was £80 and one I would never have picked but it fitted so beautifully, so comfortably and so uplifting was it that everyone thought I'd lost weight.

It would appear that bra costing/pricing is fixed by average cost .
