Would you like it to fulfill it's life destiny of being worn as part of a pair?

I have three odd socks: size 3.

1) Falke, black ankle sock

2) Bamboo, black ankle sock (L - R is missing)

3) Cotton, seam free sea spray green sock.

Every pair of socks I wear is an odd pair, apparently it is a scorpio thing (I know there is an astrology thread, so I am not trying to start one). I have a whole meshy laundry bag full of them ... that means mine, Mr's and the four teenagers that share our odd sock habitat ... have given up trying to find a matching pair and Mr just keeps buying new pairs every week.

That's why I haven't thrown them away, but they've been hanging around in the way for a while now.

I could just go and buy 7 pairs of socks and commit to throwing the single ones away, along with their pairs, if they should turn up.

They do make good dusters for things like the telly screen and the slats on Venetian blinds.

Not here, I'm so fussy about clothes (probably because I prefer to be naked, but I'm only recently aware of this)but all my socks are the same style, of the same brand, so they all look identical (except for the older ones which are fading a little) so it doesn't matter whether they're odd or on the wrong foot

My daughter used to cut many of ours up and turn them into Barbie boob tube dresses ... now we is a teenager, so is doing the same thing with leggings, minus the Barbie dolls ... I try to keep scissors away from here

Odd socks go in the bin.

I will not tolerate them.

My ex used to seperate pairs and take one of each to wear odd socks just to piss me off, and you always ended up with one being completely shrivelled because it went through the wash multiple times (despite being clean) because I refused to put one in the wash without the other.

Probably part of the reason I broke up with him if I'm honest.

I cheat! I buy several packs of socks all the same colour/design! Odd socks remain until the "lost" sock turns up which in reality is probably the partner of another lost sock. You think you`ve made a pair back up when you`re actually a pair down!

I have a silly system - I currently have a bag of odd socks in the wardrobe with about 30 socks in. When we moved in together I seem to have brought numerous odd socks with me and he has some because he never had me to sort his washing. Every week I empty out the bag and match the pairs that have gone through the wash separately and lost their partner.

I often embrace the odd socks and wear them without a care...under boots of course

After fumbling about gwtting late for work for tge 40th time, I got to the point where i was tired of it and threw away all my old socks after buying 20 new pairs

Blasphemy.

Think of all the socks that could have beem reunited to a pair, or all rhe one legged people in the world that can't afford socks.

I have more odd socks than I do pairs. I match my socks by texture rather than by design so I nearly always wear odd socks but they never feel odd. It's not something that has ever bothered me.
