Not a criticism, I just thought it might make for an interesting Mars/Venus discussion.

I've seen many women use professional photographs online over the years, but I can't say the same for guys (fake pics notwithstanding).

Thoughts?

Perhaps something to do with guys lobbing their cocks out in a non sexual situations being less socially familiar than females baring their bits and bobs...

Think men generally are too scared to have their photos taken professionally . But they are more widely available now and a quick search on wowcher brings up some cheap options .

Would be much better for us girls if there were more of them though . Much nicer than the crap most men put on here . A bit of effort goes a long way

Problem with studio shots...maybe they are too nice...and maybe when you meet you will be a tad disappointed

I sort of agree,I'd never have then done, partly because of that and because I'd be far too shy to relax in front of someone else's camera and I know I'd hate every picture

I'm booked in for my first one next month , but beards gets paid for his and he's kinda used to them now. He was so scared the first time .

I'm really nervous but I've seen the results and yes they may make you appear a bit hotter than reality but who doesn't want to see what they look like at their best

Some chaps have some fantastic pictures on here. I think its all a case of choosing how you want to present your profile. I take my time and think out the pictures I want . Plus a camera with a timer setting lol

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I can understand people wanting to show themselves in the best light.

I hate having photos taken. I am allergic to cameras. They make me go stiff and wooden and pull weird faces.

I had some studio photos taken more than 15 years ago, for the experience. Some of them came out well. I was amazed.

I wouldn't put studio shots on here though because I hate people to be disappointed when we meet.

The full length photos I have on here are not flattering but they are realistic. I have photos in which I look better but they mislead people.

A while ago on here, when I weighed about 3 stone less than I do now, I had some photos of me in a corset on my profile. I didn't have any photos showing my body without a corset.

I met a couple who were disappointed with the me without a corset - they thought I'd used old photos.

Lesson learned. Unflattering photos, accurate description and if that puts people off then they'd probably run screaming when they met me anyway.
