We already have the PS3 console but I've wanted a Wii for the last 2 years.

Now that we've finally got around to deciding to buy one, my Husband has thrown a spanner in the works by suggesting that we get the Move instead

What would be your preference and why?

wii is good but i sold mine as it wasnt getting used that much.

if its family thing you want then the wii is better as the kids can use it and most of the nintendo games are designed for family play.

I'd get a wii purely because PS3 will never get Mario Kart and that is ace.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

If you already have a PS3, better to get the Move add on for what you already have than a whole new console.

I'm only really bothered about the sport/dance type games and the wii fit of course.

Looking at some reviews it looks like the Move might be the best in the long run however right now the Wii is still getting my vote I think.

PS3 is a good all rounder, and has Lovefilm and iPlayer on it too now.

PS3 Move, depends on how many games are released, the basic light ball controller is really enough. More accurate than the Wii, and the EyePet is something young kids love.

Wii probably wins for fit/active games due to number available.

XBox Kinetic might be better as no controller, but depends on games available.

My Wii is still in box from family games last Christmas. PS3 gets blu-ray and game use every couple of days, and once bonuses arrive, then a XBox probably.

Just Dance and Just Dance Broadway on the Wii are great games to play. Also give you a good workout
