I would like to do something meaningful in my life so decide to cycle from Birmingham to Oxford for breast cancer charity.

Any ideas where I an get information like the route to take and maps of the route?

i have done parachute jumps for cancer research before.

well done, its a really good thing your doing and that feel good you get cannot be beat.

Agree with the poster above, if you contact them they have professionals that can help with local press etc, help you raise more money.

Good luck

Charities tend to react to such offers support in one of two ways.

They'll either say 'Great. Get on with it and send us the money' or

'Great. We'll support you, offer publicity, make a big thing out of it but you'll need to guarantee £XXXX to make it worth our while'.

Unfortunately my 2 girls are horrified at the thought of me jumping from a plane. So that's out of the question. This is why I chose the cycling.
