I'm a picky mare but evidence of an active mind and intelligence is a good start. That will attract my attention. I do still need to fancy them physically though, although that's more likely if they can engage my brain.
I can say who I don't fancy from a photo but not who I do fancy. Actual attraction requires that I know them a bit and feel on the same wavelength.
I can't name a single celebrity I fancy because I don't know them. I do, however, fancy some of the characters actors play. I always name characters on the celebs you fancy threads, never actors.
It makes it difficult to find people I want to meet because most think it's all about the physical and taking time to get to know someone is too much like dating.
I get accused of looking for a relationship. I am, I suppose, in a way, but only an NSA relationship. We meet, have fun then go off and do our own thing until next time we meet. |

When looking at profiles I normally skim down the pictures (I use my phone) fairly quickly and stop if something catches my eye, a strange way of doing things I know but if something's good it will normally catch my eye and make me so scrolling
The pictures that normally stop me are bum or torso pics for men
And bum nice underwear or body pics of ladies (sorry being bi I can't leave the ladies out)
I also like pictures of good tattoos as well
Profile writing that catches my eye is normally where the member/members have taken the time to describe what there looking for a little bit but not a profile 2 miles long

Erm, having been on here a while now (on and off) I've learnt a lot about profiles, messages, flirting, photos, etc so now it's takes a lot to get my interest and keep my interest. I flick through a profile text and the pictures. I prefer a profile with more than one sentence and a variety of photos. I do like the cock pictures and more than one of the same person, because, it could just be taken in good light or a good angle. Same with faces and body pics. What attracts me to someone now, is that they stand out from rest, without trying to hard. |

I guess I just assumed the OP was referring to pictures.
Of course intelligence and personality is important. Having a degree of wit is a clincher for me. This is often hard to get from just scrolling through a profile though (hence my earlier emphasis on appearance).
Some of the funniest/ most intelligent men on here have crap profiles. From my experience, anyway.
