I did it! I got all mushy about someone on here and have had to call it off. I'm feeling very sad and sorry for myself now

Does anyone have any funny or uplifting stories.....? I could use a virtual snuggle.

Virtual snuggle on its way...don't be too hard on yourself we are human after all and sometimes feelings do creep up on us no matter how hard we try to keep them locked away.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

No funny stories, sorry, but I've been there so you have my sympathy. Virtual hugs are on offer too.

Did someone mention the 'F' word. You need to redirect those sentiments. I usually find a nice Mulberry, followed by a Jimmy Choo, a Versace plus a little Vivienne Westwood helps ease those troubled moments. Sending you a big Virtual Hug and a nice cup of tea, chocolate biscuits and the theme tune 'I will survive' - Fi xxxx

The funds to do so would be nice! I'll make do with window shopping and troughing on imaginary cake, as I'm fasting for surgery later today.

Some people are affectionate, I find it difficult to have sex without those extra things taking place, I'm not a porn star. I understand what you felt for the person, because it's happening to me now, but we both love it.

May I ask who called it off, and why? I take it they weren't feeling mushy for you.

I called it off as I'm not in the position to have a relationship at the moment. I only came out of a 13 year one 6 months ago! Also he has his own baggage. It's just not the right time for that sort of thing.

You shouldn't feel sad or sorry for yourself. You're only human after all. Nothing wrong with having feelings for someone. It can't be helped sometimes. It just happens.

I feel sad because even though I want to I can't see him again.

I understand, very mixed feelings you're going through, take your time, it'll happen again and hopefully you'll be ready. Wish you well. X
