Absolutely fantastic news! I didn't expect to come on fab and hear something quite so uplifting. I sincerely hope your daughters recovery goes from strength to strength. I know she may never have a full recovery, but I hope and pray that a workable, liveable situation can be reached.

That's great news Ruby, I hope the progress continues. You've obviously not given up on the situation and are still hoping for the best, which goes to show how strong a parents love is.

May the road to recovery, if possible, be smooth and positive.

A great moment, and thread.

I don't know your story but I know how horrendous it is to leave a loved one in the care of others so I can appreciate that little victory. A step closer to the light at the end of the tunnel. Happy news is good to hear.

They keep closing all the mental health wards down where I live . The excuse being most people with mental health issues prefer to stay at home

It's where the cuts always begin !! Im . working in a hospital for people with learning disabilities autism all dual diagnosed with mental health. Just having autism alone is bad enough slap mental health on top It's not an easy job but it is the best job especially when they leave to either supported living or in some cases independent living. Glad your daughter is winning her battle xx
