Note book is a small laptop. Waste of time as screen is too small to do much on, but its much heavier than a tablet.

Chromebook just goes on the internet, it cant do anything else. You cant install programs on it, you need to be connected to the internet all the time.

Notebook and laptop is the same thing. Chromebook is a laptop which uses Google Chrome as opposed to internet Explorer as a default. Basically there is no difference despite what pish the marketing feeds you.

A Chromebook is a laptop of a different breed. Instead of Windows or Mac OS, Chromebooks run Google's Chrome OS. These machines are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud.

Laptops tend to be bigger and heavier than notebooks and aren't specifically designed to operate with the cloud although solid state drives tend to lead you in that direction

I'm sure someone will explain these better than me though

A Notebook is a smaller Laptop, a Chrome-Book is a Laptop or Notebook which runs the Google Chrome operating system instead of Windows. The Chrome Books are usually less powerful than a Windows Laptop (not always) but.... The Chrome operating system is less demanding so needs less power.

Hope this helps, Cal x

for a notebook you need to buy a pen

a tablet can cure a headache

a laptop is the top of a lap

lord only knows what a chrome book is; probably a book with a chrome cover

Notebook : laptop, but lower powered version. Usuall 11" or smaller screen, not much use really buy basic Windows applications.

Chromebook : like a laptop but runs Google software (not Windows) bascially limited storage and everything is cloud based. You can access info from anywhere as it not tied to the device.

Laptop : much like a PC but portable, quite powerful compare to the other three.

Any more info.. just mail me

You've confused Notebook with Netbook...

A NETBOOK is a under powered Notebook, has a really good battery life but is really designed just for Internet browsing.. Hence the name.

It will be fine for web stuff, and much less chance of viruses than a windows device. She could even use it for school work by using Web based programs such as Google Docs or Microsoft's Office 365

There is a Major difference between Google Chrome and Windows. You wont be able to buy and install most consumer software, things such as PC games, Office programs.

I've got a chromebook I love it but they arent for everyone. everything runs online and you can't install most traditional software. xxYou can use remote desktop connection if you have a pc with softqare somewhere else though. Just remember all your stuff will be cloud based xx
