Am I the only one who gets a tad bit insecure when you message a woman explaining she's beautiful in every single way but then reads and just deletes??   |

What I don't get is - on most profiles it says treat with respect but - a simple no thank you would do - rather than a no response it just makes you think what is it about me that got it deleted... Paranoia tends to kick in and respect goes both ways... |

Because like plenty of the other women on here and I suspect many of the couples too, no thank you then results in
'Why' so you tell em why then you get
'Well you ain't all that anyway' or worse
Or 'well I can change x y z'
Or else in response to no thank you, you get abuse! |

If you expect a reply from everyone you message, you are only ever going to be disappointed.
There are lots of reasons for someone not replying.
You can accept it and move on, or you can get upset but the end result, either way, is that it won't change. |

It's all part of the fun .....best to just type message, send it then delete ..... No fun looking at your sent mail box to find out if it's been read or not x some of the women and couples on here would need a p.a to answer every single message xx |

Well, some guy messaged me that I was beautiful, so I replied, how could you know? Look at my picture, it shows hardly anything of me ... he replied he could tell because of my knee ...of course, it works every time, and we hear it again and again. My knee is beautiful though .... |

OP, how do you know they read it before they deleted it?
If it's because you spend too much time refreshing your sent messages page, then I have a potential solution for you...
If not, you're making an assumption. They may check your profile first and then delete unread, they may mass delete all the One liners that came in after and your message goes with them, or they may just be too busy to cater to the fragile ego of a complete stranger that they never intend to meet. |

What bothers you the most OP, genuinely feeling upset that they haven't replied, or annoyance that you've told them.they are beautiful, best looking woman on the site etc and they have still ignored your attempts of flattery.  |

After reading messages I always delete them, I just don't like clutter and an inbox with a lot of read messages just feels like clutter to me.
Never thought people would be upset about this  I try to answer all mail, maybe the odd one slips through the net but can't imagine how full inbox and outbox would be if I had kept every message 
Sometimes things are done for a reason and it is reasonable just not something you would do or something you would think of.

Only last night I sent a "thanks but you're not for me" message only for the guy to then bombard me with messages until I threatened to report him. So from now I'll just delete and block! |

You know how you get junk mail through the post? Unsolicited phone calls? Email?
Same thing. Just because its sent doesn't give a right to a reply. |

I used to reply to every single message politely.
But the endless 'why?' messages, arguing and begging make it uncomfortable for both parties.
I still try to answer as many as possible, but don't get drawn into the resultant wheedling and subsequent upset. |

Pha, the last time I politely said someone wasn't my type, a rather stocky gent said Neitzsche wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire and judging from the guys in my veris I obviously had crap taste anyway!!
