No matter who you are or how well you look after yourself a 10 year old pic is massively out of date and misrepresents yourself. Turning up to a meet 10 years older than the person thinks you look could possibly lead to a very awkward situation. |

"Recently found some old photo's is it ok to show them? Some are 10 years or more old
"
If they're nice and you like them why not? It would be quite easy to put a line at the top of your profile saying they're old.
We've met people who use old photos with the full intention of deceiving people as to what they look like and feel that isn't fair. |

So it's ok to do silly stuff for avatar challenges, or take photos of parts of your anatomy wearing a rubber chicken - but we draw the line at old self photos?
I recall other users asking the same question in another thread a while ago and they were met with encouragement.

Other people can say what they want, the OP asked for opinions, and I gave mine. |

I agree. I gave my opinion as well. I don't do avatar challenges and the like. I wouldn't like someone putting old pics up. I want to know who I'm meeting now, not what they used to look like.
Of course people can do whatever they want.

Avatar challenges are different. As long as the OP makes clear the photos are 10 years old, that's fine. Making out they are up to date ones would not be. |

My current avatar, and my favourite pic on here, is 3 yrs old now. I could recreate that and not look substantially any different if I shaved ma goatee off and had ma hair cut a little (I'm growing it long again now while I still can lol).
I suppose it must come down to whether you have had any massive weight gains or losses over the years. As long as you also post a current pic for any potential meets to make an informed decision, then I personally can't see any harm |

I don't look significantly different body wise except my knees....they seem to have got very old looking .....but facially I know that I don't look the same as I did ten years ago. I think as you say if there's no intention to mislead where's the harm? |

Thanks for everyone comments. I only wanted to show pics of my self for vanity reasons. I wasn't trying to deceive anyone and only a few weeks ago I posted some pics of my self (up-to-date ones). So not to upset anyone I wont be posting but for all the ones who want up to date pics on this site maybe pics should only have a 6 month life before being deleted. |

If you like them and want to show them off... i want to see them |

I thought you ment you only wanted to use old photos and I couldn't understand why
