That being said, I enjoy pootling up and down a canal and ascending and descending locks and ladders  |

Thanks for all the replies, we are certainly going to give it a go from April onwards next year. We like the idea of adding a role play theme. We either we are completely in charge of our guests or we are slaves to our guests every want and need.

OP I know very little about boating, but could you also sail to swingers clubs on rivers? The Vanilla Alternative in Bedfordshire is on a river and we went to their festival of Fun earlier this month. Lots of people were camping, maybe you could moor up next year  |

Have to make sure all shagging is done in the fore/aft direction. Too many shagging in the port/starboard direction, especially in unison will capsize it |

As lads we would open locks for rewards.. I seem to recall it was about 20p.. Is it more these days? |

Update.
We are planning on doing the Pennine circuit in the summer over a leisurely period of 4 months.
As the captain will be busy steering the boat in and out of locks we are looking for a couple to hop on board and assist in lock opening and cocktail mixing  .
In return we will offer lodgings if needed and of course as much naughty high jinx as possible.
Anybody interested please message us with face photo attached if possible.
It'll would be great to meet loads of people along the way.
