on the road to nowhere in particular

The Seat is a VW in all but name but cheaper. The Alfa will be fun but expect bills. The Volvo is a Volvo. You know all about them.

Newest, lowest mileage car in the best condition for the money.

Unless you are into driving there isn't that much difference between modern cars, so just go for the pink one

Get an audi a4 or a vw golf or another volvo

avoid anything french as they smell funny. the alfa looks nice but if you get a naughty one it will cost you an arm and a leg to keep on the road

Mini coopers. I swear by them. Reliable, robust and you'll have a good solid runner, aesthetically pleasing and holds value!

all top cars the alfa romeo is by far the coolest however so many things can go wrong with them..so I'd have to say go with the seat cheap economic and pretty cool in its on right x

I love my Leon. I'm very impressed with it.

It's a bit sensible for me and not fast enough but it's well put together.

I've only driven the Alfa mito from that list, fun comparatively frugal, not a lot of storage.

By (user no longer on site)  over a year ago

Clare would say go for the Leon based on what you have said, I'd agree

We might be a bit biased as we used to own a VAG tuning & servicing business though

Volvo is a good 2nd choice, Alfa could be very costly although it's a good looking car.

I definitely agree with the post about the seat, basically a vw usually reliable, but any car could go wrong at any time

"Audi A3. Can't go wrong."

You'd probably be looking at a 7-8 year old car for the OP's budget, or a very high mileage rep-mobile.

There are cars that are a better bet for the money, IMO.
