I could have a go at experimenting with toffee syrup and cheap cider to make my own toffee apple cider. Fairly soon I think that would also have the same effect.

I didn't go out to look last night.

I don't know if it will be clear enough here.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's too cloudy here, plus the light pollution makes it difficult.

Maybe I should run away to Wales or somewhere tomorrow.

I went for a run earlier, just before sunset, and I was surprised that it was still so late, plenty of runners and dog walkers about.

OP, why can't you go to bed early?

It's clear-ish here. I can see lots of stars. All I can see moving at the moment are the lights on the 'planes flying into/out of Norwich airport!

I've just been out for a look. The dog came out to watch with me. I waited patiently for the security light to go off so I could see. The beast then decided to go and have a drink from the bird bath, security light comes back on. I then take beast indoors, he begins to howl at being separated. I then go in and calm him down. Go back out and security light comes on. I wait for it to go off, look up can't see anything exciting. Decide I'm too close to the boundary trees, so move backwards towards the garage. Security light comes on. I come in.

Typically it's cloudy in the direction I'd need to be looking and clear across the rest of the sky! It would also be easier if my next door neighbour would turn his kitchen light off.

It's beautiful out there though; quiet and still with a warm breeze that smells fresh and clean.

I've seen a few shooting stars. I may go out again in a bit. It's so lovely out there.

but there was 3 of them

the film

and the 2009 mini series

at the moment

Yes, it's a thing. It's my first though when someone says atm. My second is cashpoint.

I can't speak for those with filthy, warped minds though.

There was full cloud cover here an hour ago - not one single star visible.

I can't be arsed to go and check if it has cleared.
