If it seems too good to be true it's nearly always the case.

You will get wise to it. We don't do anything anymore without running a few checks now before we instigate contact or reply.

Depends what your definition of a fake is! If you have proof that someone is fake or if they don't show up to an arranged meet then report to admin and they will deal with it.

However, maybe take a look at the process you use when deciding to meet people, this is the common factor that you have control over

how do you go about selecting people.... what checks and balances do you put in place, ect ect, talk to them on the phone, see pictures... it is last minute or planned and the list goes on....

To the OP...it isn't always the persons fault that they have been let down but you can help yourself to limit any timewasters you may encounter.

If you mean let down by going to meet someone and they didn't turn up...then report the profile.

Bloody hell, 100 miles!

When I was meeting the furthest I travelled was a half hour train ride away. There was only one exception to this, I'm now married to him
