I was at an amusement park today with my disabled son, disabled toilets doubling as baby change, why? We had to wait ages to get in one today as a result of this, what bright spark came up with this idea, plus me teaching my severely mentally disabled son to watch where he is going and to have manners, as best he can, to help him live in society, then thinking " why do I bother", because so many people are ignorant and just walk into him, in the end I just thought, " Fuck it" and let him walk into them. Sorry, but a bit sour today.

I can get very impatient with people sometimes, like in shops if they take too long & then I try & say to myself, the cashier may be the only person they'll talk to today if they're old.

I try to remember I don't know anything about their life or what they might be going through.

Sorry to hear those frustrating events put a dampener on what I hope was an otherwise fantastic day for father and son.. ,,,,,,

I sincerely hope your son enjoyed the day and you both came away with some treasured memories...

Nothing has pissed me off today as it's my day off and I spent most of it in my favourite place, bed!

I'm sorry you had a bad experience OP, I always think parents of disabled children are amazing. At work the other day there was a young boy in with his family and he just wanted to hug everyone. It was strange, mainly because it's a very busy shop, but how could we refuse! He was very sweet and I couldn't help but admire his parents and the way they handled life.

I know it shouldn't, but when you chat and they ask to exchange pics and even if your not for them when you send one at least have the decency to say your not for us, don't just ignore the other Fabbers.

Well, that sucks. Sadly, you can't help how other people are which sucks. I hope your efforts have more effect on him than their parents efforts

I wouldn't say it pissed me off as such but the lovely old lady next door really chooses her moments.

Bradley took Little'un out for an hour today so that I could crack on with some urgent paperwork in peace (DLA forms, none-the-less. I'm sure you know what they're like!).

Sorted Bubba out and waved them off and the old dear tries to start a conversation. I answer her to be polite but then apologise and say I MUST get on with this paperwork as I need it sent off ASAP. - She turns on the selective hearing and keeps changing the subject and asking more questions.

In the end, I had to walk away.

Feel really bad as I know she's lonely and I make time to talk to her whenever I can, but she always chooses moments when we're rushing out for a hospital appointment or when we're rushing to get in because Little'un needs food or something similar.

- Amy. x

Sorry Joe, I can understand parents not keeping an eye on their kids (especially if they're on their phone and the kid's being a nuisance) or kids running all over the place getting in everyone's way, as these things are annoying, but being annoyed with them for physically not being able to keep up I disagree with, I'd be more inclined to be annoyed with the parents for leaving them behind

Me too.... I rarely get pissed off. Except for when some moron tries to knock me off my bike (rarely more than twice a week).

people correcting you spelling on the forum, the need to look at themselves first, i have apps and computer assistance to help me with my difficulties in life, they need to think first as people have verious issues that result in bad spelling, as long as its readable and understood, who tf cares
