Sometimes it's just funny. Sometimes it's highlighting there isn't a definitive answer...nothing wrong with those replies if you don't like it ignore them.

Some of the questions can't be answered any other way, and the replies quoted are honest.

Do women/men like (insert trait)?

It's bleeding obvious that we all like different things. Saying some do, some don't is entirely reasonable and true.

It's a stupid question. The poster usually isn't looking for an answer anyway because it's an ad saying they have the aforementioned trait and trying to make themselves known to those that like it.

They can't possibly have reached 18+ without knowing we all have different tastes and some will like it and some won't.

So, as it's not really a question, a not really an answer would seem fair.

A. Doesn't really want to answer the question

B. Doesn't know the answer but just wants to post something

C. Just wants to annoy the person asking the question, probably because they don't like them

If people want to say 'personal preference' then that's fine, everyone has them, I'm just curious as to how deeper probing would reveal the reasons for those personal preferences?

when someone can't or wont accept that certain people wont do x, y or z because they think 'well they're on a site like this and my perception is they should do x, y or z how is it lacking in honesty to say 'that's their preference, accept it'..?

I think some people expect serious debates all the time forums are for fun. My response depends on my mood.

There's plenty that do actually answer including me (most of the time). So what's it matter when a few are light hearted or don't add to the conversation....

Let people choose from the replies given, just what works for them. Simple answers keep it short, as common sense as some may seem.

The forums are full of stuff that will interest you, or not. Put your attention where its valuable.

Sometimes I state the bleeding obvious because either the question was so ridiculous in the 1st place or the response I'd like to give with earn me a time out.

I do think it can come across kind of smug at times when quoting those classic one liners though.

You will find some topics repeated a few times over a few months, the outcome will never change.

For example, a common topic is often something to do with bareback sex, or pregnant sex. The answer always is the same, some will, some won't do it. Why prattle on for pages and pages, just to come to the conclusion some do, some don't.

I think that when people reply with a 'yawn' or some reference to their fab friends on the forum, its rude and makes the poster feel slightly alone ... in this big world - I don't care, nor do those who have been around the forums for a while - but I think its a bit off when we should be encouraging new people to post - I like to hear from someone new - much more interesting as after a while you can predict what certain people are going to say
