no not wanting to do that, but if you post a thread and someone replies and you are not happy with their sexuality then say in thread women only etc, you dont send them a nasty biggoted message in private

after all thread are a pass time fun only

Some people take the forum far toO seriously and believe theirs is the only opinion that matters. I wouldn't worry about it as the other posters will make up for the likes of them

Are you saying that you posted on a thread and someone sent you an abusive private message? Hey, welcome to the club - but block them and/or report?

I don't care if someone does try to control who posts on a thread by saying so. If I want to comment on a post or a thread, I will.

.. not saying the op controls or owns it.. i am saying if a person posts a thread then he/she should expect anyone to reply, and not message the ones they dont like sexually to say so ...

Report if it's abusive, block in any case.

Some people do send private messages, sometimes in error by pressing the wrong tab.

I used to get a lot of them because some don't like what I write. It's not something you can control but you can block them.

It's odd isn't it. I think sometimes they can't argue intelligently so they resort to playground tactics "I don't like you anyway" sort of thing or their thread is purely to attract attention band they get cross when it's the wrong sort. These sort of people usually use our age as a stick to beat us with

Block and report...forum posts are taken way too seriously ...its supposed to be fun and yes the odd debate but jeeez a soh is what's missing on some.

I find abusive messages in response to forum posts funny - block, report and forget. It's an incredibly petty thing to do (particularly the lengths sone people have gone too) and never gets tge desired effect.
