The Four Corners

i propose winks become a thing of initiation...

with a little sentence on your profile entitled Winktionary... people can judge what a wink qualifies as.

so for example...

Winktionary: If i wink you consider it to mean (x) (y) (z).

please note this is a copyrighted idea by the Mr Fae corporation... and i shall expect a subscription of 22.95 per hour of use.

hahaha in all seriousness winks could be used as a tool of initiation rather than annoyance

I think you might be up in the copyright courts soon as many people already have exactly that on their profiles!

But it's a good idea and reiterates what I believe the wink system was intended for - a way to flag an interest and see if things develop from there!

It's ironic that the very system designed to allow people to flag their interest is used as a filter to block by some but I do understand their thinking and reasoning behind doing so!

I consider it to mean that you know what you want but don't want to add to the inundation of messages I get so you're telling me you're interested and will send me a thoughtful message later.

Great idea. If I wink it means 'Fancy a fuck!' That should save me hours of copy and pasting it

Somewhere in North Norfolk

If someone I'm interested in winks me, I send them a message saying thanks for the wink. It's up to them if they want to engage further then.
