Well done Cute...just remember Rome wasn't built in a day.

I'm trying to shift weight and am thinking it'll take around a year - but looking back, this time last year seems like the blink of an eye so just taking things day-by-day and acknowledging non-scale victories too; it's not just about numbers on a set of scales as you've said.

Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Emm x

Im just being totally honest,, because dont see the point in bull shitting anyone

a lap of where i live is 250 meters and thats a distance i can do before i need to stop..

so for a while i might just try to time myself and work on reducing that time as i cant change the distance so to speak..

i have to sit down/lean on my car after the 250m then spend a few mins before i can go around again. at the end of the 500m i then feel my lungs are gonna combust.

Usually it's where people who are trying to gain muscle eat literally no fat at all to lose as much body fat as possible.

100% not this.

A cut I'd when you are trying to lose fat typical while maintaining muscle.

The main thing that'd usually cut from the diet is carbs not fat.

Just keep doing what you're doing. Eat well, keep pushing gently on those limits and things will slowly transform. In March, I'd climb the 2 flights of stairs at work and I'd have to pretend to read the posters at the top as I felt sick, I was panting so much. A few weeks ago I did the 5k Race 4 Life at a brisk pace and could've done more. You'll get there little by little x

Sugar will make you fatter quicker than butter :p

Brilliant! Good on ya and I wouldn't worry about time and speed. .keep trying to do 3 loops rather than a fast one. The longer you are out (even with stops) burns more calories!

Sorry got 1 word wrong! And there's is no fat or carbs in chicken and broccoli! In fact there's probably more carbs in the broccoli than fat on the chicken

"Well done cute

Was it a walk for something specific or was it just you on your own?"

I just decided on Friday i was gonna do it,, the weather according to ITV was good (turns out it was a smidge too hot for me) but i had planned it and committed to do it.

I did put it out there i wanted 10 laps of my cul de sac type thing,, and only managed 7 but i did mid morning then go do a food shop at a large ASDA store which was walking too

I managed 7 laps. Im still happy though. Was time i used with my lil lady who scooted around with me.. didnt expect her to run around the block twice in the time it took me to walk it once though.. still goood on her

My friend started doing laps of his street at night when no-one was around. He could only make it to the bottom of his street when he started but it's surprising how quickly your fitness improves. Good luck OP.

Don't worry about the distance. See how your steps increase over time.

You have to remember that you are actually doing twice what another person would be doing. You are doing the equivalent of giving a grown person a piggy back the whole way round. And everywhere you go. (Hope you don't take that the wrong way.)

Tey sweet potato instead do normal ones really tasty (especially with some harrissa paste or chilli on it) and a bit lower gi.

I found when getting rid of the belly changing over to lower gi foods more effective than just cutting calories cause it helps keep you fuller for longer.

My main weakness is always motivation/will power so "cheats" to achieve the same result without having to feel hungry are my preferred stratagey
