I only arrange a meet if mobile numbers are exchanged. Any hint of being mucked around then I just text to say let me know when you're free and leave it with them. Many I never hear from again. Gut instincts are usually right for me in knowing who is genuinely up for meeting or just playing games. |

I'd have to *really* want to meet them to be given a second chance.
If something comes up at the last minute to make them cancel their plans, they're more than likely just not my kind of person (which is why I don't date people with kids, etc.) |

If it seems like a genuine enough reason then I'd have no problem giving the person another chance.
If I was being fitted in or moved to acommodate another then nooooo way, they can go and do one. |

Life sometimes gets in the way we all know that... But we all know there are some sad f**ks out there who will give you the run around just to boost their own fragile ego's, and still advertise genuine nice guy on their profile to boot!

It was a long distance meet, and every time we tried to set a date it was this excuse and that excuse, so we blocked in the end, just drew a line under it.
Later, we were going to be somewhere anyway, so it didn't matter if they turned up or not, so unblocked and put it on the table. They did turn up, and was a great meet. |

Having some flexibility is fine, though I find that either I've become a hardened bitch or I'm not particularly interested in giving second chances, as my default response.

I normally make my meets wait ages until we eventually meet so I know that they are going to be genuine if they call off. They will get another chance. I've had it happen a few times and each time we've met eventually and had fun. I've had to call off meets too and they have all given me another chance. I wouldn't give someone another chance if I wasn't meticulous in choosing my partners in the first instance. |
