the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands |
you choose, I guess either way wasps may be a problem. I tend to find sitting more upright aids the digestion, and its easier with a table when it comes to pouring the tea and jamming up the freshly made buttered scones, but I'm game for either |

"picnic! Don't forget the tartan blanket and the obligatory tall grassy field " wasn't that a country and western classic? Umm? the laying the blanket on the ground, not the field of tall grass |

Hmmmm love both!
The important bit for either is the venue - for afternoon tea they have to make their own cakes and have a really nice tea room to sit in, for a picnic I want it to be somewhere quiet and all to ourselves and a beautiful view.
When it comes to picnics I pack a mean spread, sometimes it's homemade, sometimes I just hit waitrose. |

"I'm going to a picnic in the park today, a big 50th celebration for all those in my year at school.
Hope your suitably jealous "
suitably jealous, though the rest of your class year can make themselves scarce so we can enjoy our pic nic and catch up |
