Growing up these 2 telly character s epitomized the 80s/90s and have stayed with me too this day (Endless repeats on Gold and ITV have helped of course lol)

Although exaggerated characterizations they where both excellently written but which one was better ?

For my money, although both were great it has to be Del Boy as we got to know him better as a character as the years went on (more rounded possibly) but what do you think !

We'll both different characters and if there roles were reversed I don't think Arthur could be del or del could be Arthur and for that reason they are both ona parr

For comedy, Del Boy.

For acting, George Cole. David Jason is great, but GC was the master.

The Del-boy character emitted far greater depths of pathos.....

So for that reason..... Del....

Both bring back fond memories of growing up in London, Minder was filmed near to where I lived as were the first couple of OFAHs series !
