If you had done things diffrently you may well have a different list of things you might have done differently. If you see what I mean?

No regrets at all married very young to a fantastic husband and father to our only Daughter. We both have worked hard all our life lucky enough to take early retirement April 2013 from the pub trade swinging 36 years made our marriage very strong and happy happier than any of our friends who do not have a clue about this side of our life |

I like to think everything is a learning curve that's how I deal with things.
But my one regret is not going to university, I was offered my first subject, first university and deffefed for a year.
Sadly I became to unwell in that year.

Anyone who has got to 60 will have made mistakes of course but letting them prey on your mind is maybe only going to hold a person back..
we live and learn and hope not to do the same mistakes again.. |

I don't really have regrets. What's done is done. I'm a strong believer in things happen for a reason whether you like it or not.
If I had a regret, it's not picking up another language at school. Now I don't know which language I'd like to learn.

Just the one.
Made many years ago, over 30, all healed from it
until ..............
Found out, just last year, that the other person involved also had same regret.
Dare not even think of what may have been. |

I regret not going to see The Pixies on what was their last UK tour. Other than that there's plenty I'd maybe do different but nothing I really regret. Life is too ahort to allow the past to eat you up |

Of those who have, have you made the same mistakes twice?
I think about if I could go back and change stuff but I know I'd only be doomed to make them again.
I do dwell on things too much but I think to some degree I deserve it. |

I regret missed opportunities more than mistakes. I certainly wouldn't change much of what I've done. And I'm better now at making and taking opportunities when they are there. |

Crap relationship - don't regret it as I have a wonderful son
What I believe is to take the experience and use it to change what happens and that I have done |

I often look back at all the wasted years I spent with my ex and wonder why I didn't leave him sooner, I get angry with myself that I wasted all my young years with him and left it till I was to old to start again before I left
But such is life |

I have one not quite as dramatic as that. I missed out on meeting Michael Stipe because I thought it was a joke. He took my friend instead.

My son was born 10 weeks premature. We took him home at six weeks. The Tuesday evening he wasn't breathing properly so I called the doctor. He told me just because he was premature it didn't mean I had to wrap him in cotton wool: bring him to the surgery in the morning.
He didn't wake up Wednesday morning.
I regret not following my instincts. |

It's hard as a parent to know what to do at times, sometimes we know what's right but feel we should listern to the doctor as they know best
I remember when my daughter was 10 they wanted to operate on her to remove a ovary that was dead, she was prept for surgery then last minute they pulled out saying they didn't want to do such an operation on a child so young, I argued at first as she had been ill for a few years due to this condition but in the end gave up and took her home
When she was 18 she had a full hysterectomy as the infection had got so bad it was either that or she would have died, I'd already last one child when he wad 20 month there was no way I was loosing another after 18 years so I signed for the operation
There isn't a day goes by I wish I had stood my ground when she was 10, at last she's still have a womb and one working ovary |

Getting married so young..
Not working harder at school
Hurting my ex husband the way I did
Falling in love with the wrong people
However they are experiences and have made me who I am. We can not change the past and now I firmly believe that it's better to make a mistake than to wonder what if x |

I'm the opposite. Wish I'd followed what I wanted to do and gone into mechanics rather than listening to teachers telling me I should do A-Levels and then Uni...I couldn't get a training contract and so I've never been able to get myself straight financially since which I think has affected other parts of my life. Ah well, maybe I'll win the lottery! |
