Somewhere in North Norfolk

I am having some latex flooring stuff put down in the kitchen as a base for some flooring.

I have the joyous task of keeping my (indoor) cats out of the room whilst it dries.

Anyone want to bet on my chances? Or should I wrap the cats' feet in cling film or something now?

How would I keep them on their feet? They'd slip right off again.

I'm hoping it won't come to that.

There would be bellowing, door scratching and fighting.

I'm guessing by the Virago name your a Biker babe? Nice

I'd say the Moggie will indeed find a way to bugger up your floor unless you put him away for the day in a room or pen.

As for challenge mine will be getting a decent gap in the weather to blast to Whitby 90 miles and back over the weekend without getting rained on

little house on the praire

Today is the calm before the storm, next week I've got to buy carpets, curtains for a whole house by a three pieces and washing machine.

It's going to be an extremely challenging week for my bank account

Ouch. Sounds expensive. Rather you than me.

I hate shopping unless it's for shoes, gadgets, tech, or books/films/music.

My car was 15 years old when I changed it last year. I understand the feeling well.

Wow, that should be interesting.

I'm not sure I'd want to see most of those I was at school with again tbh. Mind you, I'm an anti-social baggage.

I felt the same I've always ignored school reunions, but we set up a Facebook page and all been chatting for awhile.

I'm looking forward to it now.

If you have a dog crate, or can borrow one, I'd crate them for the day, but get one out at a time and cuddle, or leave them in a bedroom with food and water

I fed them some favourite food. They're now sleeping it off.

I'll decide what to do next when they come round. With luck they'll be passed out for a while!

If they get in and on it, it's only fair that they get to walk through a tray of paint and let loose, once the floor is fully finished.
