In and amongst the manicness - there are some really grabbing newsbits I find.
The chicken farming story particularly upset me.

"it is cruel and the blame public wanting cheaper meats, a would happily pay extra but a doubt the look after them any better"
The clip was less about the treatment of chickens per se...but the way the industry giants look after chicken farmers... A bit of an eye opener.

Yes! I love this show too!! Haven't missed an episode. What would we do without Jon Stewart starting off all these great political satire shows? But now with Colbert gone and Stewart leaving, last week tonight is all I have left

be interested to see how trevor noah does in stewarts shoes... i honestly don't think oliver would have left the daily show if he had known of jon's plans and he did a really good job as the stand in .... (I suppose thats what got him the HBO gig!)
i love the fact that oliver can take more time over his stories.... there is talk of last week tonight going Twice weekly as oliver says he can't really do stories that break on a sunday... because everyone else has ripped it apart for 6 days before he can get to it |

I think you're very right... Though, perhaps it's worked out better - this way we get to see Noah and also Oliver gets to his show his way..
Twice weekly sounds much better - I'd be delighted with that. |
