WTF??
I think they need a trip to specsavers!
"A man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of convicted fraudster John "Goldfinger" Palmer.
The 65-year-old was shot at his home on Sandpit Lane in South Weald near Brentwood in Essex on 24 June.
Police initially thought he had had a cardiac arrest and did not realise for nearly a week he had been shot."
Now I don't claim to be an expert on criminology - but for fucks sake - I'm pretty sure I could spot the difference between a gun ago and potential natural causes.
Full story here!

I read that he'd recently had heart surgery and I don't know how but they thought the wound on his chest was from the surgery and not from a bullet
More a Drs mistake rather than the police do you think? |

I only know what was on the Beeb website.
Made me wonder where he'd been shot?
Unless it was up the arse I'd be surprised neither the police nor the coroner spotted a gunshot wound.

It is all a bit strange
I think there was a massive assumption that because he'd recently had heart surgery that he just dropped dead on his doorstep from a heart attack |

Wonder what they'd have assumed if he'd just had some nasty piles surgically removed!

Was he not shot with something specialist I believe there was mention of a cartridge that can fire something akin to monofilament wire?
It's all very murky.

They do what cops are trained to do.
Jump to a conclusion on the spur of the moment and then look for stuff that confirms their hunch whilst ignoring anything that contradicts it. |

Can't say I know of him but if he has caused pain and upset to others, you reap wha you sow. |

He was a big player for many years and as some may say you live by the sword... had evaded police more times than they would like to admit... shame that any evidence would have been lost in that week... |

It won't be the right person. At best it will be someone who has been paid a lot of money to fake guilt. At worse it will be a random person from the street. |

It is completely irrelevant I know but , being young and cold I'm forced to wear a jumper so a stop and search is expected which is fine I like the idea shifty fuckers get stopped generally but having llived in London and been stopped by Essex police the difference in conduct and the way they go about things is crazy |
