Saw him recently at the Hammersmith Apollo and was quite disappointed.

It was very full on - there's only so many gags about rape, incest and sexual abuse you can take in one evening.

took my oldest lad to see frankie boyle last year...bored rigid after a short while. Shock value doesnt carry a whole act of material youve either seen before 100 time or that just isnt that funny in the first place.

He's brilliant. One of the best stand up comedians around at the moment imo.

Hasn't done a lot of new material in a while though.
