Fat and thin, tall and short, intelligent and dim, active and indolent ..... opposites can attract. But what about all us poor beggars in the middle range? What is the opposite of average?  |

Pretty much. People work well as a team with others who have qualities they don't possess.
I think they whole thing is bullshit though as people generally try to find common ground. |

Define average though. What is average to one person might be exceptional to the next person. |

To follow up i agree so if people find it better with common ground...
Should people with a high sex drive only stickto those with similar and low sex drive ditto....
Or is that a recipe for disaster ? |

On the surface me and jay are complete opposites, world's apart in our upbringing and quite a few interests. However, the basics are there, we share the same values, morals, we like going to the same kind of places and holidays.
He's taught me so much about things that I was either ignorant about or thought I had no interest in and I've taught him things as well.
We do compliment each other.
