I'm very excited they're doing it and it's r rated too, with the 4th wall breaking there's so much they can do with him relating to the films with making digs, controlling the story by making changed to the script mid film etc.

Imagine this... He appears halfway through an avengers movie and puts thor in a dress commenting on how thor is a woman now so he's making it's accurate

Watch the red band one, looks they're going to do a good job of it even with the old brown pants joke.

It looks to be lighter hearted than the comic deadpool because he's truly insane but it should make for an entertaining movie

I'm definitely gonna watch Deadpool when it comes out. The two clips on YouTube were pretty funny.

I'm impressed with how Ryan Reynolds has fought so hard to get this movie off the ground and finally won in the end. He was born to play Deadpool. In fact, he IS Deadpool.

I enjoyed the original dead pool film.

The clint Eastwood "Dirty Harry" film that fhas early screen performances from both Liam Neason and Jim Carey. (Good pointless answers I suspect)

I am guessing this is not a remake?

Nope. Marvel character called "Deadpool" not "The Dead Pool"

Ah "the dead pool" thanks for the clarification, I think this marvel one is not for me, I have had enough of the superhero genre,.

I was called a heathen after I said I preferred the first iron man film and bringing other comic characters into it spoiled the sequel.

So maybe best I just avoid this one?

I can live with the fact that Deadpool is a 15 rated movie. At lasts it's not a shitty 12A rating. I've read on bbfc that nothing has been cut out so I guess that's ok.

I will have to make sure no underaged kids try to sneak in to watch it at where I work. I remember refusing a family who wanted to see kingsmen because their daughter was only 14 and the father was not very happy about it. It does puzzle me why parents think it will be ok for their kid to watch a movie with a 15 rating as long as they are with them. They need to remember that this ain't America.

Yeah I think the American rating system's weird.

Guessing you told them it's against the law for anyone under the certificated age to watch the film?

I'll bet they probably said "no one will know" too?

I think the Dad sad something among them lines yeah. I basically told them that I can't let anyone in under the age of 15. I'm sure he was bad mouthing me when they went to get a refund.

I had to refuse another family from watching the 5th wave with it being a 15 and they said that they thought it was a pg which they showed me on their phone. I had a look at it and I said to them that it says pg-13 which is a US rating so they asked for a refund and I showed them to a till where they can get the tickets refunded.

Got to hand it to Fox trolling Disney with this one. Tired of all Marvel's superhero stuff already so I'm looking forward to Deadpool doing for movies what he did for the comics and Punisher doing for Daredevil season 2 what he did for mature readers over 10 years ago.

Deathstroke comics can be described one way - heads rolling!

The TV version just shouldn't have existed.

Going to have to "borrow" a series off the net.

Know of any good ones?

For best artwork and content go with the 2011 volumes. You can order them trade paperback online and they're relatively cheap now

No probs. You might also want to look up Deadpool MAX so we can get back on topic lol MAX was the Mature Readers imprint they created for Garth Ennis's Punisher. Tits, blood and guts and swearing at the very least!

I LOVED Deadpool MAX!

I think I read Vol 1&2.

Punisher MAX, I only read the first Vol.

You should check out Crossed if you haven't already.

That's good.

Already read a few Crossed. Those are hard to get through despite how comical they can be. Ennis just doesn't care, does he? lol

But then he mirrors a lot of peoples' disdain for superheroes (The Boys) and zombies (Crossed) and patriotism (Fury).

No he doesn't.

But I'm glad he doesn't.

The Boys was ace too.

I've not read fury though.

With so much political correctness I must concur. He evens the balance, if not tilts it to my extremem preference lol Fury is great. He literally appreciates his worst enemies more than the country he fights for like, if it weren't for people like them, he'd be bored because he's so jaded

The comics never really appealed to me...having said that neither did Captain America, but the movies were brilliant,'Winter Soldier' just blew me away...so I may give Deadpool a go.
