Peace & quiet or background noise
Jump to: Newest in thread
Depends. At the minute, I'm craving silence. My sister has been staying with me since Saturday. Every spare minute she has the TV on. We've been out for the day, were home for 5 minutes and the TV went on. The first time this house, let alone the TV has seen Emmerdale.
She goes home tomorrow, so I will spend the evening in silence. Well as near as it gets living on a main road with a parrot as a pet! |

"Which do you prefer?
Silence or music/TV on in the background?
I prefer silence "
I gotta have background noise as soon as I walk in to my home tv on. Same with hotels. When I sleep I need the hum of a fan even in winter |

"If I'm doing something else then quiet. I'm a man, we can't really multi-task no matter how much we say we can!
You were multi-tasking last night!!!"
And then my head exploded Miss G!! |

I love listening to music, but need regular silence, I drove out to the peaks last night and watched the sunset from Burbage edge, really settled my mind and body. |

I'll usually have the tv on if I'm at home but rarely pay attention to it.
Am away with my niece (4), nephew (10), mum (55), nan (75) and stupid yappy dog (God knows ) and am craving some peace and quiet!!!! |
