Hello chums.
The pooch and I have noticed the amount of grumbly postings and ones about being glum.
The pooch has put down his copy of Chekov The Cherry Orchard and asked me to ask you Chu.
What makes you smile , it can be a song , a film , a friend , a naughty thought or a place.
Fo us its a jolly jaunt out in the countryside. A splendid walk with spiffing company .
So.what makes.you smile
Keep it classy , just a tad sassy , but heavens please not trashy

When my dogs play so hard that they fall off the stairs/couch/etc. They are too cute and always make me smile. Even when they are being bad Once my husky mix was walking (on a leash) and turned to bark at another dog, but simultaneously walked into a pole because she was paying too much attention to the other dog. Made me laugh for the rest of the week.

Watching small boys bicker - it used to stress me out but recently I decided that life is too short to get caught up in it. So now I spectate and listen to what they actually say and they're very funny!
And now that I no longer get agitated and irate they seem to keep it friendlier. |

I have happy thoughts and smile about every day things in my life.
Take today for example, I was working on some toilets, I needed some tissue paper to remove the excess mastic from the end of the tube, and thought to myself, !!! I am so lucky not to have to wipe my ass anymore with yesterdays news paper. Unknowing to me years ago, my ass must have looked like it had been fingered by the chimney sweep. With the ink that came off the newspaper. |

"My 6 year old daughter when she said 'Metaphorically speaking' the other day on the loo.
'Very good. Now what's a metaphor?' I asked...
...crestfallen look.
"
Isn't it to measure how much leccy or gas you've used? |

I smile and chuckle at the not so subtle as they think "look at me" threads wherein the OP keeps posting every 4 or 5 posts min, just to keep it at the top of the leaderboard. |

I struggle with that when I post a thread... there's a fine line between replying to everyone cause I'm interested in their responses, being rude by not replying or just looking like a total attention whore! |

I'm trying to teach her irony...

My mum's cat, Lily - aka, my Lou.
I went round to my mum's house yesterday, and Lou was waiting on the corner, watching for me. Soon as she saw me, she came running up to me, meowing her head off, wanting a fuss. She's a pain but an absolutely darling.
My family & friends too, especially my Joddles, my Piglet & my Squish |

Today I was painting rocks for the garden with my boys. The youngest, who is 4, told me he'd painted the world. I asked what the second rock he'd painted was, and he told me it was another world. I asked if he meant like Mars or Jupiter. He looked at me in disgust and said 'no, it's Tatooine!' |

Now my turn
This evening I sat on the Orme . The pooch by my side , it was warm and a crimson sunset.
Just sitting cuddling the Pooch and happy thoughts if sent kisses |

But what absolutely cracks me up is when one of my cats misses when trying to jump on a worksurface or windowsill or similar! They give you either a filthy look like its your fault or a sheepish one! |

Mine has perfected a walk away that suggests that I must be seeing things, he never tried to jump onto the windowsill and fall off! It's all in my head! |

My mum's cat has a tendency of giving you a death glare like you've personally insulted her whole family |

"Selecting a suit I've not worn I'm ages and finding a receipt from a particularly hot meet in it... Either that or a tenner!"
Wow, you meet some exclusive ladies if they issue receipts.

Oh and just seen one of the local hedgehogs scooting about my garden- so cute! (Hopefully chomping on all the pesky slugs and snails that attack my produce!) |

My cat tries to make out that it was completely deliberate like she totally intended to fall off the chair in such an unladylike fashion! |
