Unfortunately you will find windows error messages to be the most generic of all.

It's vista yes, you're patched up with all the sps?

Prob some component just out of date now, as they released 10 last week

When the very nice and helpful man rang me today to tell me my Windows computer had a virus on it, and he needed urgent remote access to my computer to help me fix it, I told him I was using a Mac, not a Windows, he hung up, then rang me back with a different name, but same dodgy African accent to say my Mac had a severe virus on it!

Ocht yeah, I've spoken to him was his name Terry and did he tell you he was soo very happy that I was quite alright?
