Who are your top 3 WWE wrestlers, sorry superstars, sorry sports entertainers, at the moment?
The rules are: you can pick any 3 active wrestlers from the main roster, NXT and even tough enough if you are so inclined, but not John Cena.

i have always been an indy wrestling/ROH fan.... so glad to see all the ROH alums doing well.... punk/bryan/owens/zeyn (el generico was a blast.. he has to bring that back at some point)/ cessaro.... can't wait for them to brink up samoa joe if they decide to.... |

Where to start... somewhere between "because he can't wrestle" (harsh) and "his character is stale and boring" (generous). I hope for his benefit he sounds less corny to an American audience but the 'never give up', constant smile, goody two shoes baby face died in the 80's.
I respect his work ethic but hate his character. If he would just... do the right thing... and turn heel then all could be forgiven.
Notice how most the wrestlers named are inbetweeners who don't need to rigidly follow heel / face stereotypes. |

Not just in the WWE, but arguably the best wrestler in the WORLD today.
2: Kevin Owens
Despite not looking like the archetypical wrestler, just watching him in action will change anyone's mind, he's effortlessly entertaining in the ring.
3: Brock Lesnar
Near unstoppable monster and comes across as incredibly legitimate, a match between him and Cesaro NEEDS to happen, and soon. |

I remember watching him wrestle in person at the Bedworth Civic Hall in 2003, in front of a tiny crowd of locals, back when he was known as Fergal Devitt. Talented though he was, I had no idea I was looking at someone who'd become one of the most respected wrestlers on the planet one day. |

TNA is nothing but a glorified independant show thats got TV, look it's a cheesy looking production.
An example why TNA sucks I recall Eric Bishoff saying Kurt Angle Jeff Hardy on his worst day can beat you @ Victory Road 2011 u had The Main Event Jeff Hardy V Sting Hardy was high as hell this is how the match went down...
Jeff hardy fucks about taunting about throwing a shirt to the crowd ZzZZ they lock up, sting pulls hardy from 1 corner to another, kick punches Hardy twice, grabs his head moves to middle of the ring Sting goes for his signature Scorpion DEath Drop aka Reverse DDT 1-2-3 DING DING DING match over.

WCW was far better than TNA could EVER be.
TNA cannot sell out arena's WCW can, TNA is based @ Universal Studio's where WCW did ALOT of tapings in 1994.
TNA iss till there, they went on the road and LOST alot of money.

I saw Andre The Giant. Bloody huge. He wasn't very mobile as it was near the end of his career, but his sheer size was mesmerising.

The Iron Sheik, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Macho Man , Lex Luger, Sgt Slaughter, Hacksaw Jim , Ultimate Warrior, Bushwackers, Jake the Snake, Davy Boy Smith, were good fun,
I can't say about now, don't see it anymore. I went to 4 events in the early 90s they were such a laugh.

Rock is a great entertainer but I wouldn't say his matches are 5 star the way Shawn Michaels can make you not want to blink. Basically, Rock was better because of who he was / his character than what he actually did in the ring (imo). Whereas i could sleep through a Shawn Michaels promo but started dialling 911 in his summerslam return match with HHH because he looked like he was going to die! |

Anyway, back to the question in hand
1) - BROCK LESNAR - This guy is simply a beast and looks truly unstoppable
2 ) - BRAY WYATT - For my money this guy is the best interviewer / pyschologist since Jake Roberts and brings a whole new dark side to the character
3 ) - CESARO - This guy is unbeliavable and his work recently has been top notch and for my money not only is he pound for pound the strongest wrestl;er on the roster but also the most talented too
I appreciate the work of others too but I can see Dolph Ziggler turning heel and being pushed to the stars a bit like a young Shawn Michaels was 20 something years ago .... you know where you heard it first |

Going to split this up into two categories. Best entertaining wrestler. And best at actually wrestling lol because there is a big difference.
1) the rock. (Before Hollywood)
2) stone cold
3) mick folly ( had no wrestling skills at all just took beatings but was fantastically entertaining.
Now the wrestlers
1) obviously Brock leaner. ( he should be dominating the wwe but can get boring because he is that good and should never get beaten which is why I think he was stripped of the title for more dynamic stories)
2) the hardy boys still mesmerise me now no matter how many times I watch their tlc matches.
3) cesaro. I really wish they would get his character right he is a fantastic wrestler.
However there is a great wrestler who should get a mention not a wwe wrestler but an actually wrestler marking him better than all above

"Who are your top 3 WWE wrestlers, sorry superstars, sorry sports entertainers, at the moment?
The rules are: you can pick any 3 active wrestlers from the main roster, NXT and even tough enough if you are so inclined, but not John Cena.

I hate re-writing of history! Being a good person doesn't make you a good wrestler and being an excellent wrestler never made any a good person. The two are not related. I don't see why we have to pretend he didn't have the impact he did, because of what he did. |

I saw Benoit live and trust me he stand alone as one of the greats, I've seen the who's who of stars and he was technically the best I've ever seen. |
