Hi forumites, can anyone tell us step by step how to do this reverse search of pictures. Think it might have come in handy once or twice to shame fakers on the spot. Not that we give most time wasters any time at all, but one or two have been so cheeky it would have been good to 'end' them !

Easiest way is on the Google chrome browser. Open a tab with the picture on and right click. There should be an option on the little menu which says "search Google for this image" or something similar.
Remember that if the image is of an "Adult nature" you'll need to turn off safe search too. |

You cam download plugins for other browsers which allow you to right click an image and select the reverse search.
Alternatively, you can save the image to your desktop and drag it into the bar on images/google.com |

Thanks for the replies. Don't fancy going down the 'download plugins' route. Have tried that in the past with music software, nightmare. Will try the google chrome right click method. Seems straightforward

I use tineye and have found alot of profiles on here have stolen photos from porn sites . |

Save the image
Goto Google
Select images
In the search bar to the right will be a camera icon
Click that and it will open a browser window to locate the file

I just hold on the pic if I am on my phone a number of options will come up, one being search Google for this image.
Use it regularly for pic's that look.
Too good to be true.
