How do you cope with people like this? I have come across some in swinging lovely to your face but say all sorts behind your back and thats with out even really knowing you. How do you cope when hereing stuff about yourself thats not true? Wish at times i had a thick skin .... jo x |

it is hard to deal with BUT sadly it is a simple fact of life.
Sorry to read your a tad wound up about it. Just be true to yourself and let others think what they want.

I don't let folk like that bother me...nor am I thick skinned.
As long as people leave my family and those I love alone, I don't let anyone stress me out.
The key is to be true to yourself and live by that. Greet everyone you know with direct honestly and that is how you will be known...then your friends will recognise the liars when met with them |

we've came across this, a few times various couples have told us people on here have said nasty stuff about us even tho we have in some cases never spoke or met them, we just put it down to jelousy lol  xxx |

I think people who are two faced, bitch behind peoples backs and make up stories have personal insecurities. We should pity them as they are probably very unhappy with thier lot in life, but at the end of the day at is THIER problem |

If its someone that as you say doesn't really know you why worry. The people who dream and make rumours up end up getting caught out eventually. |

I like to think i am truthfull and would say to a persons face how i felt. But thats just me. Hate it when people say stuff and not true. I know truth can hurt at times but you know where you stand with people. JO XX

I was refering to guilty, but quilty seemed lit more in relation to the site.

Hence the reason we stay away from chat, gave it a go once or twice and the amount of bitchiness you see at times is unreal, some see it as a competition to see who can get first strike at new meat, and have even heard of people sabotaging socials, backstabbing is unfortunately a very common swingers trait  |

When someone approaches you with - "oh, you'll never guess what so and so said about you?" simply say, I'm not interested.
You'll find some people take pleasure in making others life a misery. How do you know that anybody actually said anything about you?!! You only have the newsmonger's word for it!
You don't need to develop a thick skin, just take everything with a pinch of salt, and not let other people try and spoil your fun. |

i see backstabbing and jealousy as as i sign of weakness. thats in all aspects of life. people only put other people down to make them selfs feel better.
look at it like me, they must be real low lifes to put any effort into making you feel as bad as them. so ar they worth worrying about? |

I have seen a lot of bitchiness during swinging, I often try and analyse it (i really should stop) but its begs the question are we really that comfortable with having sex with strangers, or deep down are we insecure and it comes out in some other way, ie bitchiness and back biting |

it happend to us we met a nice couple next thing they was slagging other people off to us we dont like people like that ,we try to avoid gossip

yes i know what you mean.
ok when your meeting them but slagging you off to others so people dont meet you.
i know and it is upsetting. got my down for a bit when i found out someone had the knife out for me.
felt like i couldnt do anything about it.
so i just left it for a while.
did lost a few meets over what this person said.
just the way it goes sometimes. |

You can only feel sorry that they have to do and say these kinds of things. Those kinds of people have problems themselves and that is what makes them this way. |

But unfortunately quite a few decide whether they like people by just going on what others say.

I love it when some pickledicks slag people off and make up preposterous bullshit and then it collapses when the people in question meet others or go to organised events. It tends to expose the dreamers as what they are.
your spot on about making your own mind up though, its always the best coarse of action. |
