"well newish beautiful motor then realised road tax and insurance is ruddy high bummer"
Get a mg f , mine is 99 per year to insure fully comprehensive, and it has a modified engine , and gear box
It's not a typo . Less than £100-00 per annum |

I've been ruminating on a new (used) car. I'm considering between a Kia Sorento, Nissan X-Trail, Citroen Picasso or a VW Toureg at the minute.
Ive had a really good, reliable Xsara Picasso for years (yes, I know Mr Who, its French!!) but there's a lot of car in that Kia for quite a reasonable price. I tend to buy cars and run em till the wheels fall off (I've put 120K on the Picasso so far!) |

"Snap, OP!
There's a new car on our dive way
If anyone wants to put one on mine they're welcome - I'll provide the bow and everything! "
It's a shame I know fuck all about cars but this one's red and it's got 4 wheels. |

I'm currently trying to work out a way to afford the new Alfa Giulia when it comes out next year. If I manage it you can have my GT... |

Oh yes please. I'm still deciding what to go for next but an Alfa is still in the running. |

Honestly, I can't fault the Kia. If you want trouble free motoring they're right up there with the best. |

Nothing moves like an Alfa... Trouble is there rarely keep moving, unless on the back of a tow truck. |

How original of you. Did you think that up all by yourself or did someone help? |

I'm loving my Ds3 tbh. Insurance swapped straight over from my Saab 9-3 turbo so its only 200 a year, it's completely tax exempt due to emissions and I got 3 years free servicing so it's just fuel at 70 quid a month to pay out. Saving 265 quid a month by having it which pays for the car each month |

I wish I had kept a copy of the letter because what follows sounds unbelievable but is absolutely TRUE...
Many years ago, around the mid 70's my dad received his car insurance premium renewal notice. It was in fact an apology from his insurance company who stated that, "... we want to set your premium at £0.00 but unfortunately our accounts system will not process it. Because of this we will have to charge you £1 so the system will process it, we can only apologise for this charge." that was after some 40 or 50 years of no-claims with the same insurance company. |
