Yes Seasons in the Sun would top my list.
The wrist slashing "Honey" Bobby Goldsboro. would be a very close second.
There would be a lot of contenders for third but at the moment I would give to Alanis Morrisette for the piece of crap "Ironic" but I may think of others.

Totally agree. Would love the "boom boom bang bang" music of the 00's to be replaced with the lyrical approach from the 70's n 80's. (jez this makes me feel so old now lol) |

Never really liked anything by Cilla Black (Alfie being the only exception) To me she always sounded like an Ostrich gargling with iron bars.

3. Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty. I hate that fucking sax solo.
2. Life - Des'ree. By far and away the worst lyrics in a song ever. Fact. How the fuck it got to number 8 and number 1 in several countries, i will never know.
1.Lifted - The Lighthouse family. Once had to work nights at a supermarket while i was at college, and the radio station we all had to listen to played this poxy song about 10 times in one 8 hr shift. |
