True, but would rather die of lung cancer or die surrounded by Thai women of questionable gender in a Bangkok hotel by an auto erotic asphyxiation mishap?

I know what I'd choose

Think of all the car parts you can buy with what you save

You can get on with life without constantly wondering when you can have your next one

You won't have to stand outside in shitty weather just to smoke, you can stay in the warm and look out the window at the other people standing in the shitty weather just to smoke

Ages your skin

Affects your gums, causing tooth loss

My dad smoked for years. He then had 2 heart attacks and a quadruple!!! By pass.

Gave up smoking at the first heart attack and hasn't had one since. So I think if he could do it anyone could

What's most important is that you think it's a good idea.....people who think they should give up smoking probably will struggle....people who want to give up are more likely to succeed.....good luck.

Sadly Champix is not an option. I tried a previous incarnation (Zyban) several years ago and after 3 days I went blind for nearly two weeks!

Not a risk I'm willing to take again because it happened very suddenly and without warning.

Holy shit!

I've read the side effects of Champix and they read exactly the same as antidepressants. That was enough to put me off; messing about with brain chemical balances isn't good.

Loads of people have raved about them to me though.

At 6, she thinks you will die very soon. They don't have the comprehension dying later or complications. All she knows is that smoking kills people and you smoke.

She's also exposed to your addiction which will and does affect her health.

As a matter of fact I don;t not smoke in the house. In the garden, or possibly the greenhouse

I started comparatively late (23/24?) and could probably walk away from it now without damaging myself irreparably.

It's a common misconception that it's ok as long as it's not in the same space. If only it were that simple. The chemicals are syi present in your hair, clothing, on your skin and breath. If she took the cigarette out of you mouth, she sees you do it and is exposed to it. She will go to school smelling like it too.
