"Wonder who the sick person is in Boston Lincs who is poisoning cats .if you don't like these beautiful pets shoo them away. Poisoning takes two days to kill them " This has happened down here too. I agree, if you dont like cats there are other ways to keep them out of your garden or away from you. I have had two cats so far, current one is great as was my previous one. My boss, unfortunately, has said to my face she would kill a cat. I was speechless at her open hatred.

Tried cat pepper then someone said old gorse bush spikes did that and still crapped there in the end laid brambles on flower bed Bloody cat must have been a bloody ninja managed to get through the roll of brambles and do a shit right in the middle in a space smaller than a cup In the end I put paving slabs down now the cat shits on my neighbours flower bed result now I don't have to throw cat shit in his flowers and get a place to park motorcycle

Worked for me. Works well in conjunction with a 10 stone dog roaming the garden he loves socialising with cats.

"I live in Boston lincs. And a few of my friends have lost their cats through this. Yes cats are sometimes pests but do not deserve this. Thankfully I live over the other side of town to where this has happened. And I never let my fur babies out the house. this being one of the reasons why." They sure it's deliberate not say a dodgy garage had a spill and just swept it to the side or left a leaking container out?
"Think a good way to get rid of the cat,s is to get the cat shit put it through the cat owners letter box in the night keep doing it till no more cat shit is found simple the owner as drowned the bloody cat no problem " Why at night.. ?

"I have found that some sick and twisted gardeners are cruel to cats. My cat was killed by one such person. A stone to the head. Other people have told me of barb wire. Broken glass. And one idiot even had an electric fence to keep cats of his garden." Electric fence is pretty damn humane, that's it's reason for existing to prevent animals from breaking through safely. Doesn't damage them just stings a bit it's more a funny feeling than really pain.

"Check to see weather council have been spraying killer on paths ect! Weed killer wont kill cats, or anything else for that matter" years ago my neighbour put killer on the garden my cat had gone in there and came back with burnt paws she started vomiting so took her to the vets and she had to have an op where her bowel was damaged from ingesting it I nearly lost her

I think so, they would look for the owner and give them up and down the banks. At the end of the day it's your pet and your responsibility. I wouldn't let a dog roam the streets so why should a cat or any other pet be any different. I absolutely despise cats, but wouldn't poison them, I'd just make sure they hated coming in my garden.

Or stayed in a cat owners home where there is a bird or other creature its killed on the kitchen floor as a present for the owner. I get why it would piss someone off to have a garden full of cat shit but how are the owners of cats expected to 'control' them exactly?

Wouldn't it be more cruel to put her out when she's known no different? I see our local foxes in the park opposite my flat pretty much every night. I agree, if you dont like cats there are other ways to keep them out of your garden or away from you. I have had two cats so far, current one is great as wuas my previous one. My boss, unfortunately, has said to my face she would kill a cat. I was speechless at her open hatred. Bloody cats I had this one bloody cat that kept shitting in my flower border . Tried cat pepper then someone said old gorse bush spikes did that and still crapped there in the end laid brambles on flower bed Bloody cat must have been a bloody ninja managed to get through the roll of brambles and do a shit right in the middle in a space smaller than a cup In the end I put paving slabs down now the cat shits on my neighbours flower bed result now I don't have to throw cat shit in his flowers and get a place to park motorcycle I do agree with you, they are little ninjas, my mum has the same problem, man who does her garden moans about shit on lawn and flower borders but my mums laid back about it, she had a cat for years, so did he and his wife, but he still moans. Nice to see you have taken the nice route re your cat invasion though, there are ways round them I thought that it would be great if when cats did a shit you could Scan the shit for a address like the scanning system in their necks and post it back to the owners " This made me laugh and I needed a laugh this week.
"Check to see weather council have been spraying killer on paths ect! Weed killer wont kill cats, or anything else for that matter years ago my neighbour put killer on the garden my cat had gone in there and came back with burnt paws she started vomiting so took her to the vets and she had to have an op where her bowel was damaged from ingesting it I nearly lost her" That was most likely sodium chlorate which was banned in 2009,that would cause burns if it was still wet when the cat walked over it, the only other chemical that may have caused harm would be paraquat that was banned in 2007. Councils would only use glphosate to spray paths etc and is pretty harmless apart from the wetters that are added to make it stick quicker, a cat would need to consume large quantities to even suffer indigestion from that. I have know gardeners use caustic soda to kill s that would burn a cat badly as well
" Wow... there are two!! I know you think they might actually go back and read the original posts to make sure its them that havnt mis interpreted whats been said. They are proving to be inconvenient and im wishing i was more like they have mis interpreted me to be. " Excuse me I had work to do. I've read your post... And your previous posts as I said I've read the thread . I didn't call you a c*nt. I said one of the three, you chose the one I guess you thought most appropriate..

"There is a plant you can buy to deter cats, do some research, don`t kill peoples pets, imagine how you would feel if your pet was dying from poisoning. why should people spend money and waste their time on putting in unwanted plants or any other measure to keep other peoples pets off their property. The onus is on the pets owner to make sure their animal isnt a nuisance to other people ive said the same thing 3 times now and not one answer to that !" Because cats tend to roam and unless completely indoor cats are not "owned"... I had this row with one of my neighbours ( we share a garden ) he was moaning that a cat was messing in his front. And digging up his plants. So I brought him some things to deter the cat... He wasnt happy at that and insisted I kept my cats in... I did.... And it still happened. Turned out it wasn't my cats. So he used the stuff I brought him tI deter the cats and sorted. My cats go over onto to the park to do their business in the bushes ... They also do bring me mice, bats, birds, rats and bugs... Occasional fish from a pond ... But they will also eat most of them too.
