It's a piece about the England-Germany football friendly in 1938 where the England team give the Nazi salute.

Greetings heir Hitler, I have no weapon!.

Interestingly it was compulsory for the public but not for the military who mostly continued with the traditional salute!.

There was a long list of establishment figures who really really liked Hitler and the Nazi party in general, Hess got caught flying out to Scotland for secret talks with "friendly sympathisers"
