I am just not enjoying it anymore.

I split from my wife about twelve months ago, got divorced.

It's a poor substitute for 'real' sex for sure. I know where you're coming from OP, I can go quite a while between wanks and, other than the pay-off as you reach orgasm, if you get stuck in a routine they can become routine and uninspiring.

The best thing I find is lube - a bit of Durex Play strawberry lube does the trick and improves the sensation (compared to a 'dry' wank)
