"Cecil or any other lion or fox that are hunted for 'SPORT' are no different, - it's high time that the hunters are hunted! A little culling here & there will ensure little repetition, - they're cowardly bastards after all." No doubt. And hopefully this will be the beginning of the hunter being hunted | |||

"I think some view animals higher than they view humans...." A lot of people do. Don't often see threads about murders of people but they happen every day several times a day and the victims are not equal sparring partners. Still ..... a lion is a lion is a lion. | |||

Ironically the killing of this Lion has helped highlight the shame of trophy hunting in a way that dwarfs the efforts achieved by many conservation campaigns..
I suspect we will hear lots of disenchanted muttering about animal rights over the next few days until the public furore finds another outlet to vent its collective outrage,,,,,
Meanwhile millions of people around the world continue their struggle to survive the effects of war, persecution, drought and famine....blah-blah-blah,,, | |||
